Pomp and Petals evolved from a lifelong love of flowers.
Where has the time gone? Ten years ago, I completed my training with the wonderful JANE PACKER in London. She was a compassionate, beautiful person who loved nothing more than sharing her floral knowledge and encouraging florists – I was so lucky to have been trained by her as she gave me the confidence to follow my dream and believe in myself.
You never stop learning and over the years I have been able to enhance and develop my floristry skills under the guidance of both JOSEPH MASSIE and MATTHEW LANDERS – two very different but equally talented, original, internationally renowned designers. I now have my own wonderful studio where I can pass on my skills and knowledge through seasonal workshops.
My work is varied – I offer posy collections of the freshest quality, always using British flowers that are available and I deliver stunning bespoke bouquets within the Romsey and Test Valley area. Many clients now have me on speed dial to deliver gorgeous floral arrangements for their homes, either to grace their hallways on a regular basis or for dinner parties and special events.
Weddings are a great passion of mine and my studio has provided inspiration for many couples over the years, so I look forward to continuing this. I prefer to work locally within Romsey and its beautiful surrounding countryside – you can’t beat a truly intimate country wedding at home in the garden. I feel honoured to play a part in creating memories of such fabulous celebrations.
I am looking forward to the next ten years and aim to develop my skills further, utilising the latest techniques and designs although never forgetting my basic skills and training, to add that extra touch and brighten peoples’ lives.
